Young Readers' Project

The Primary 7 children in Carrick Primary School have been taking part in the 'Irish News Young Readers' Project', which is a super initiative for developing the children's literacy skills and critical thinking skills. These children receive their own newspaper every Wednesday for 8 weeks and discuss the various topics and news stories. The children are learning so much as a result of this project and are enjoying it very much.
