Sustrans Cycling Workshop May 2022
On Tuesday 10/5/22 and Wednesday 11/5/22 Mr Dave Wiggans, our Sustrans Link Officer, was in Carrick PS and took groups of P5 and P6 children for Cycling Workshops. The children really enjoyed these workshops and learned so much about safe cycling.
This work formed part of our school's Big Walk and Wheel Challenge which took place from Mon 9/5/22- Fri 13/5/22. These sessions also formed part of the school's Active Travel Project and were very beneficial to the children.
Well done to all the children, parents and staff who walked, cycled or scooted to school or home from school as part of this challenge.
