School Council Assembly
Outreach - beyond Parliament Buildings
Carrick Council recently took part in the following workshop "Outreach - beyond Parliament Buildings"
The children were able to learn about the role of the Assembly and the work they do; helping them to understand how: the Assembly is relevant to them; democracy works; and to take part in the democratic process.
The programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to influence decisions that concern them.

Active Travel
Carrick Primary School is participating in a Sustrans programme called "Active Travel". To promote safe and active means of travelling to school we celebrated "Ditch the Dark" day on Friday 12th November. During this day we all accessorised our uniforms with bright and colourful items and many of us travelled to school by foot, scooter or bike.
