Parent's Evening February 2024

On Tuesday 6th February 2024 there was a Parents' Evening in Carrick PS on the theme of "Money". The presenter was Mrs Collette Delargy who spoke about ways to develop children's understanding of money and encouraged the parents to give the children lots of real-life opportunities to handle money, to count money, to buy things and to work out change. Following the presentation, the parents had the opportunity to talk to the children from Primary 1-7 who were engaged in a whole range of "Money" activities and games. Thanks to all the parents who attended and a big thank you to all the children who came along and helped out.
