Litter and Recycling 2023

On Wednesday 22nd November 2023 Mr Patrick McShane, from Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, visited Carrick PS and spoke to the P1-4 pupils about keeping our environment clean and free from litter. He also spoke to the children about the benefits of recycling and highlighted the problems caused by plastic waste in our oceans and seas. The children really enjoyed Mr McShane's presentations and learned so much from them. Thanks to Mr McShane for coming out to Carrick and to Mrs McCann for organising the event.
