Indoor Gaelic Football Winners
Well done to the boys who represented Carrick in the Co. Down Indoor Finals in An Riocht on Friday 12/02/16. The boys won the event for the third year in a row and played some really great football. They got out of some very tight corners in this competition through their sheer determination not to be beaten.
They played in five matches against some very stiff competition. The results were as follows:
Carrick P.S. 1-4 v Grange 0-3
Carrick P.S. 2-2 v Aughlisnafin 1-0
Carrick P.S. 1-6 v Downpatrick 1-0
Carrick P.S. 3-1 v Millennium Integrated 0-2 (Semi-Final)
Carrick P.S. 4-4 v St. Clare's Abbey 0-1 (Final)
The boys now travel to the Ulsters in April to represent Co. Down. The panel included Rory McGivern, Connla Gaffney, Oisin McStay Mark McSwiggan, Ronan Downey, Eoin Loughran, Cian Cunningham, Logan Woods and Ben McManus.
