Inspiring Visit by Mr Declan Carville to Carrick Primary School 

The Primary 4 and Primary 5 pupils recently enjoyed a visit from Mr Declan Carville, who is a well- known and much respected local author. Declan has just written a fantastic book about Warrenpoint Park and he read extracts from his book and talked to the children about the writing process. The children really enjoyed this event and were really excited about the prospect of writing their own stories.  Many thanks to Declan and to NMDDC for funding this initiative.
