Release of Butterflies at Carrick School

There was great excitement in Carrick PS recently when the children took part in a project all about butterflies and life cycles. Having watched the cocoons carefully, the children were amazed to see the butterflies emerging. After feeding the butterflies with fruit for a few days, the children then released them. The children really enjoyed this project and learned so much about life cycles. Thanks to Mrs McCann for coordinating this project.
