Carrick Primary School has now received its Recognition of Commitment Award and the Rights Respecting Silver Award!
Our school is a Rights Respecting School. Each week, the children focus on one of the 42 rights from the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. They discuss what each right means and how they can be respected at home and in school, both by themselves and others, to ensure that everyone’s rights are upheld.
Our Class Charters, displayed in every classroom, are linked to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and help us make sure everyone’s rights are respected every day.
