P6 Gaelic Football Blitz 2024
On Thursday 20th June 2024, the boys from Carrick Primary School played in the Abbey’s Primary 6 Boys’ Gaelic Football Blitz. The boys played some great football and qualified for the Quarter Final, but were defeated by a very strong and skilful Cullyhanna team, who went on to win the tournament. The results were as follows:

Quarter Final Carrick Primary School 1 – 3 V Cullyhanna Primary School 2 - 8
The squad included: Thomas Short, Tommy Armstrong, Dara Cunningham, Darragh Dickson, Darragh McMeel, Oran McBride, Shea Knox, Connor O’Hare, Darragh Murtagh, Fionn Magee, Leo Byrne, Harrison Threlfall, Aidan McGovern, Cormac Doherty and Cillian Moore.
