P5 Readathon 2025
Well done to the Primary 5 children who participated in a Readathon event on Thursday 10th April 2025. The children read up to ten books and competed in a quiz based on the books they had read.
The winning teams were as follows:
1st Place Teams
Ms McGuigan’s Class – Tommy O’Hare, Danny Clerkin, Noah McMahon, Ellie Laverty, Cillian McStay, Lily Magill, Lottie Hughes and Chloe Gee.
Mrs Harkin’s Class – Zac Bottell, Niamh Morgan, Danny Smyth, Isla Brennan, Cullen Hanratty, Tilly McLoughlin, Eva Slater, Ava Matthews.
2nd Place Teams
Ms McGuigan’s Class – Shea Dickson, Aaron Porter, Niamh McMenamin, Meabh Doran, Erin McGivern-Markey, Sophie Knox and Daniel Tierney.
Mrs Harkin’s Class – Ava Strigockyte, Sophie McDevitt, Flynn Connolly, Conor McGivern, Niamh McCaul, Meabh Murtagh, Aviana Leddy and Jack McConville.
Congratulations to all the boys and girls for making a massive effort to prepare for their Readathon and thanks to the staff for organising and promoting the event. Thanks also to the parents who encouraged the children to read as much as possible in preparation for this event.
