Abbey Grammar School Hurling Blitz.

On Thursday 27th November 2025, Down GAA held a regional indoor Hurling Blitz in the Abbey Grammar School in Newry. Primary five, six and seven children were invited to attend, so Carrick were able to play three teams against St Clare's Abbey, St Ronan's and St Patrick's Primary School in Newry. Each team played exceptionally well as we won every game!  Congratulations boys! Thanks to Mrs O'Hare, Miss McGuigan and Mr Damien McConville for all the coaching and encouragement.  Thanks also to the organisers of this great event. ​
